Use:
NAPSA can be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate with antifungal and antibacterial activity. It is commonly used in the synthesis of acetamido compounds or other biologically active compounds.
Preparation Method:
Generally, N-[(4-aminophenyl)sulphonyl]-N-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl)acetamide can be prepared by the following steps:
1. P-Nitroaniline is reacted with thionyl chloride to obtain p-nitrobenzene sulfonyl chloride.
2. P-Nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride is reacted with 5-methylisoxazolone to give N-(4-nitrobenzenesulfonyl)-N-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl) acetamide.
3. In The Reflux reaction, N-[(4-aminophenyl)sulphonyl]-N-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl)acetamide can be obtained by reducing P-nitrobenzenesulfonyl.
Safety Information:
The specific safety assessment of NAPSA needs to be determined according to the specific conditions of its use and handling. However, the correct use of the product and advanced personal protective measures are still very important. During operation, appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves, protective glasses and protective clothing should be worn. Inhalation of its dust or solution should be avoided.
